Build Strong Girls Run Club
A run program with the goal of inclusion and community.
Build Strong Girls is a summer program for girls that allows them to create a relationship with running and fitness that is healthy and fun.
Run Club will be a great place to maintain fitness from cross country or track, build skill and speed for the upcoming season.
It is also a safe environment for girls to try new things, feel strong and build confidence.
Two sessions per week: One focusing on speed/hill workouts and one for distance.
Speed workouts will be fun games, intervals and ladders.
Each session will begin with our training log, documenting sleep and what we ate for breakfast.
This will help the girls put together how food fuels performance.
Then we will move to a dynamic warm up, body weight strength training and our run workout.
Run fuel will be provided – to learn what works for race day or in their training at home.
The remainder of the session will be for cool down and community.
This program will offer personalized coaching in a small group atmosphere.
This program only has 20 spots available, which guarantees each girl receives the attention and customization she needs.
This program will be lead and coached by Andrea Dell who is a Certified Running Coach and Level 1 CrossFit Coach.
We will be teaching nutrition based off the “Young Runner’s Guide to Nutrition” by Nicole Pettinger.
Details:
2 sessions per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Sessions run from 9:00 am to 10:30 am
Location: Various Huntersville locations
Ages 11+
$60 per week - run fuel and training log will be provided
Payments will accepted in cash, check and Venmo.
There will be no camp the week of July 14th.

Fine Print:
Your child must be cleared for physical activity which includes running and strength training.
You will be contacted for payment within 24 hours of registration.
Program purchases are non-refundable due to limited availability.
